As it happens Mayan motives were popular during Soviet times in Russia. The only vendor for playing cards (as for many other stuff in Soviet Russia) was the Soviet State, so there were only a few type of the cards – just maybe ten at most, not hundreds or thousands as in free market societies, and one of the types of the playing cards were devoted to the Mayan culture for some reason.

CLASSIC CARTOON FILM ADS

These are pretty remarkable ads of cartoons from Colombia Pictures and others.  I love the imagery even more so because they are rather ghostly. Anything vintage spooky/Halloween I'm totally into it. Add on cartoons and I'm a fan!  Enjoy.

Puppies grow up so fast.  This is awesome. A photo a day of Dunder the German shepherd. 8 weeks old to 1 year in 40 seconds. It really does feel like he grew up this quickly. Happy Birthday!
